The COVID-19 pandemic brought unparalleled challenges in 2020; these have continued through 2021. It has disrupted our lives and changed the way we navigate through society. In working to support and preserve the Tyler community, 22 Alpha men saw fit to formalize and restart the “Rose City Chapter.” I commend these Brothers for answering the call and encourage us all to remain faithful to forging a STRONG BROTHERHOOD. Because of you, we have an opportunity to ‘hold up the light’ and engage with the community through our My Brother’s Keeper Initiative, scholarship program, and service projects.  

Our new goal is to become one of the most vibrant chapters in the nation. To accomplish this task, we must remain focused on being Resilient, Optimistic, Strong in our approach, and Engage with the community. Nu Sigma Lambda, let’s be mindful of the mission of our organization to ‘develop leaders, promote brotherhood, and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities’.

I would like to thank everyone that has been instrumental in helping to re-charter our chapter. I look forward to serving as the chapter leader, guiding the brotherhood, and to the growth and future success of the Nu Sigma Lambda Chapter.
